Quince Clothing Review: My Top 10 Favorite & Most Worn Pieces
I feel like Quince has been everywhere lately – and for good reason. The promise of high-quality basics at more affordable prices is obviously appealing. When I first tried them a few years ago I was a little skeptical, too! But after trying quite a few pieces since then, I can definitely say there are some really good finds.
It would be too overwhelming to show you everything I own from Quince, but I thought it would be helpful instead to show you some of my very favorites. These are pieces that I wear again and again and really love!
And for full disclosure, I have had the privilege of working with Quince multiple times and have been gifted pieces through them. I have also purchased many pieces on my own. This list includes both- but only includes what I truly wear and love. If you do choose to purchase anything, you can use my code INFG-26STUFFSTEPHSHARES10 to save 10% if you are a first time Quince customer! Additionally this post contains affiliate links. If you choose to purchase anything through one of my links, I receive a small commission (at no extra cost to you!) I truly appreciate any support here, including reading my post, as it helps me to continue to create content for you!
So here are my top 10 (plus a bonus), with all my thoughts and some pictures of ways I’ve worn them!
1. Grey Sweatpants
SuperSoft Fleece Cropped Wide Leg Pants
I truly cannot say enough good things about these. I wear them constantly – like, if I’m home, there’s a very good chance I’m in these. Unfortunately they are one of my least photographed items of clothing as I don’t always think to take pictures of my comfy after school looks!
They are insanely soft and just one of those pieces you put on and immediately feel more comfortable. I wear them with sweatshirts and long and short sleeve tee shirts depending on the season, and the grey is so versatile! I also really love the length for petites. For reference, I wear an XL and they fit me well.
They do show my belly, but I wear these for comfort! Quince also sells a matching sweatshirt and I’ve been debating getting that too.
I wear an XL.

2. Wide Leg Jeans
Bella Stretch Relaxed Straight Jeans
These surprised me in the best way! I recently purchased them and didn’t expect to love them as much as I do, but I’ve been wearing them so often. They’re one of those rare pairs of jeans that can truly be dressed up or down.
I got the 28” length because I wanted to wear them with a low heel, and they’re perfect for that. I do plan to buy the 26” at some point so I can wear them more casually with sneakers and sandals.
A few things I really appreciate:
- They have a good amount of stretch (which makes them comfortable for all-day wear)
- I was able to wear mine until about 21 weeks pregnant
- I’m pretty sure they’ll be one of my first non-maternity pairs postpartum
Now, because they’re stretchy, they don’t hide a mom belly as much as a more rigid denim would. But I still find them flattering, especially if I’m wearing a layer. They’re also a thicker stretchy denim, so they actually hold their shape all day, which I feel like is rare at this price point. For around $50, the quality is really good. I purchased these late this past Fall so all of my outfits with them are for cooler weather, but they are a great versatile pair of jeans that can be worn year round.
I wear a 32 with a 28 inseam.

3. Black Wide Leg Jeans
Bella Stretch Patch Pocket Wide Leg Jeans
A good pair of black jeans is just so versatile! I especially love them for work and I’ve worn them in multiple teacher outfits since getting them this Fall. They also come in a faded black wash, which I already know I’m going to end up buying at some point. Similar to the denim pair above, I purchased these in the Fall so my outfits shown are more for cooler weather- but they can certainly be worn year round.
I wear a 32 in the 26 inseam.

4. Gauze Button Down
100% Organic Cotton Gauze Long Sleeve Shirt
This is one of those pieces that doesn’t seem like much at first, but I end up wearing it all the time. It’s definitely more of a spring, summer, and fall piece, but during those seasons it gets a lot of use. I love it as a layer:
- Over a tank or tee
- With jeans, linen pants, or even dress pants for work
- With shorts in the summer
It also works really well as a coverup—especially if you size up a bit. It’s just very easy and lightweight, which I always appreciate.
I wear an XL.

5. Cashmere Cardigan
Mongolian Cashmere Oversized Boyfriend Cardigan Sweater
Okay, this one is a bit of a splurge—but in my opinion, it’s worth it. They’re incredibly soft and cozy, but they also instantly make an outfit feel more put together. I’ve worn mine with literally everything: jeans, leggings, dresses, sweatpants, etc. They are lightweight enough to wear as a layer on a cooler Summer morning (I brought mine on vacation two Summers ago!) but are also great to layer throughout the Winter.
They do pill over time (which is normal for cashmere), but I’ve had really good luck using a sweater shaver. I’ll spend maybe 15–20 minutes on it and it looks refreshed. I own the oatmeal, teak (cognac brown), and charcoal colors and have the ivory on my “to purchase” list. If you are debating what color to get, the oatmeal is by far my most worn as the light tan is a perfect neutral for so many outfits.
I wear a large.

6. Cotton Boyfriend Cardigan
100% Organic Cotton Oversized Boyfriend Cardigan
Even though I own a lot of cardigans, this is one I always go back to. I love the fit—it’s relaxed but not sloppy—and it works for both casual and work outfits. I wear it a lot with my pixie pants for school, but it’s just as good with jeans and dresses. It’s one of those pieces that’s not super exciting, but it’s a closet staple I wear again and again. I’ve also washed it many times (more than I do most sweaters as mine is white) and it has held up really well – probably because it is 100% cotton.
I also own the cropped version in light blue and am sharing that here too.
I wear a large.

7. Linen Shorts
100% European Linen Shorts
I got these last summer and loved them so much—I am so excited to wear them again this year. They’re just so comfortable and easy. They go with pretty much everything, which makes getting dressed in the summer way simpler. I made a reel last summer styling them multiple ways if you want to check that out here! They also come in a variety of colors (and unfortunately my pink color is currently sold out!)
I wear an XL.

8. Cropped Cardigan
100% Organic Cotton Cropped Cardigan
This is one of my favorite layering pieces, especially with dresses. The length is just perfect—it hits at a really flattering spot and doesn’t overwhelm the outfit. I now have it in white and tan, which have both been super versatile. I also wear it with jeans and a basic tee or tank.

9. Silk Dress
100% Washable Silk Mini Slip Dress
This isn’t one of my most worn items, but I still wanted to include it because it’s such a good piece for the price. It’s one of those dresses that’s great to have in your closet because you can pull it out for weddings, date nights, girls’ nights, etc. A little black dress will always be in style, and it’s easy to add accessories or dress up or down. The fact that it’s washable silk is a huge plus, and it’s held up really well for me so far. I personally love pairing it with a simple cardigan and heels.
I wear an XL. Outfit pictured below linked here.

10. Linen Dress
100% European Linen Smocked Midi Dress
I have a few dresses from Quince that I really like, but if I had to pick a favorite, it would probably be this one. It’s lightweight, flowy, and just really easy to wear. The neutral color I have goes with everything, which makes it even more versatile. It’s bump friendly and stretchy in the top so should be nursing-friendly, too! I wear this one mostly in the summer and early Fall, and I know I’ll be reaching for it a lot again this year.

I am also linking the cotton version of this dress (which I also love – I think I just prefer the linen because of the color I have it in), as well as two other linen quince dresses that are petite and midsize friendly and I also really like. I don’t think you *need* all of these though, and I would pick the first if you wanted one.

I wear a large in all except the pink (I sized up to an XL here as the bust is more fitted).
Bonus: Cotton Sweaters
I have two cotton sweaters from Quince that I love and couldn’t decide between the two for my bonus piece!
I had to include this first one because the quality really impressed me. It’s a nice thick cotton, and it layers really well over a tee. I’ve worn it with jeans, pixie pants, leggings, and joggers. The only thing I would do differently is sizing. I sized up two sizes to a 1X (because of pregnancy), and it’s a little bigger than I’d like. I probably would have only sized up one (or not at all). That said, I do think it may shrink a bit over time.
The second one is also 100% cotton and has worn well. It is more cropped in the front (great for layering with skirts or dresses) but didn’t work as well for me this Winter while pregnant. It will definitely be back in my rotation next year though!
I have a 1x in the green (but would prefer an XL) and an XL in the tan.

A few other notes on quince
Sales: One thing I like about Quince is that there is no urgency to buy. For the most part, prices stay the same year round (with the exception of a Black Friday and early Spring sale they ran this past year where certain pieces were on sale). I feel like this helps relieve the pressure to buy right away and helps you consider which items you would truly love to add in your wardrobe.
Returns: I have returned a few things to Quince over the years that either I didn’t like or didn’t fit an exchanged for a different size. I have had no issues any time I’ve done a return! They give you option of printing a pre-paid label or giving you a QR code which you can then bring into the store (I’ve done Walgreens for FedEx labels as well as USPS) and they will scan it and print it for you. You also have a full year to do returns which is great in case you get busy!
Stock: Many of Quince’s product selection remains available from year to year. Sometimes certain colors are limited (like my pink linen shorts that are currently unavailable) and occasionally they discontinue a product (they made a denim shirt I still love and I wish they would bring back!). They do sell out of products and sizes from time to time, but you can easily sign up for a restock alert and they’ll let you know when they are back.
I hope this helps you decide what to buy from Quince! Please let me know if you have any questions in the comments below!
