It finally started to warm up in April, and I was so ready for lighter layers, comfy fabrics, and easy teacher outfits. Being pregnant definitely changed how I got dressed this spring, but I still found so many outfits that felt cute, practical, and comfortable for long school days.
November and December looked a little different than usual for us this year — both in life and in outfits. November was full of finishing house projects and then moving, and December started with settling into our new home. Because of that, I didn’t take outfit photos every single day like I normally do, but I still wanted to share the looks I loved most during these busy months.
Another difference this year: I had several professional development days in November, which meant more jeans outfits than I typically wear to school. December also brought some extra fun with a holiday spirit week, which always makes getting dressed more playful.

As a teacher, I love creating outfits that are both comfortable and cute, and that help me feel confident, put-together, and ready for a day with my students. September – the (in my opinion) most exciting yet stressful month of the school year! I love the new, fresh start, but at the same time its so much work to get things running smoothly.
