My Favorite Outfits From 2025 (Month by Month)

I loved looking back at my outfits from 2025 and choosing my favorites! Overall I felt like my favorites were ones that were comfortable but pulled together, and simple but not boring. I noticed how often I reached for fun color, small details that made an outfit feel special, and easy layers. My denim button downs were my most worn layer, and I end up loving every outfit I wear them with!  I also added my rainbow necklaces in so many times because they make me happy and my outfit fun!

Here’s a month-by-month look at the outfits that stood out to me this year.  I will link all outfits at the bottom of the pictures (just click the words “outfit link” at the bottom of each picture), but please know that some of these items will be sold out as they were from earlier this year.  When possible I have linked similar, lookalike items.

January

January outfits were cozy but still intentional. A colorful striped sweater paired with pixie pants was an easy way to brighten up my first day back to school after Christmas break. I also loved faux leather leggings styled with my favorite Amazon sweater, adding bracelets for a fun detail that made the outfit feel more styled. Another standout was a floral maxi skirt with a white cardigan and boots — comfortable, feminine, and perfect for colder weather.  I wore this one to a friend’s baby shower.

February

In February, I pulled out my favorite maxi skirt again (honestly an outfit with this piece could be a favorite every month if I wanted it to!) but this time paired it with a denim vest and stretchy long sleeve tpp. Additionally, I loved this quilted vest worn with flare jeans — easy, layered, and fun!

March

March outfits started to feel lighter and more transitional. Cream trousers with a light blue cardigan felt fresh for early spring, especially when paired with tan details like a belt and boots. I also wore comfy wide-leg teal linen pants on repeat, usually styled with a denim button-down — a perfect mix of relaxed and put together. I wore this for a 5 hour car ride and would recommend these comfy pieces for travel!

April

I love that it starts to get warmer in April to bring out the Spring looks! A denim mini skirt styled with a quilted jacket and tall boots was a fun in-between-weather look. I also loved pairing a blazer with a textured tank, wide-leg jeans, and heeled boots — simple colors, but the textures and proportions made the outfit feel polished.  I wore both of these to a women’s conference at my church!  Finally I loved this black lace top with a lighter pair of denim for a date night with my husband.

May

May brought brighter colors and playful details. A yellow tee layered with a cropped denim shirt and white skirt was one of my favorites, especially with a colorful beaded necklace added for fun. I also always love this multicolored floral maxi dress! I wore this one while I was pregnant too, so it’s bump (and nursing!) friendly.

June

June outfits were practical but still fun. An Amazon skort that I wore constantly all summer became a go-to, often styled with a white tee and denim button-down and finished with Tevas — perfect for park days with my kids. For a country concert with my husband, I loved wearing a floral mesh top with denim shorts and cowboy boots.

July

July was peak summer style. Yellow shorts styled with a denim button-down were on repeat, along with a rust-colored wrap skirt paired with — you guessed it — a denim button-down. We had a fairly cool Summer (with the exception of a couple of days here and there) so I wore a lot of light layers like this and just took them off when I was warm.

August

The Sunday of Summer! This month I loved my striped linen shorts with a gauze button-down – a comfy look I wore for traveling and visiting family.  I also loved this colorful vest layered over a brown tee with a denim skirt – it felt cute and a little dressy but not too much! I also loved this floral skirt with my cropped denim shirt (again!). I wore this one when we signed to close on our house!

September

September marked a shift into fall and back-to-school routines. For the first week of school, purple pants paired with a white eyelet top felt fun and cute! I also loved wearing my Josh Allen jersey (Go Bills!) with a pleated white skort – sporty, playful, and perfect for football days. I also loved these two dresses I wore for my teacher outfits for the first week of school.

October

October outfits leaned into texture and layering again. Pink linen pants styled with a denim button-down were a favorite transitional look, and wide-leg jeans paired with a lace top felt like the perfect mix of feminine and casual.  I wore this one to a work conference and got so many compliments! Finally I loved my Quince linen maxi dress with my crochet cardigan for an anniversary dinner date with my husband to celebrate 6 years of marriage!

November

In November, dresses made getting dressed easy. A denim dress styled with a charm necklace was simple but polished. I also loved pairing my favorite floral maxi dress with a denim shirt for Friendsgiving.

December

December wrapped things up with cozy layers. A quilted jacket paired with jeans was cute with the burgundy adding in a little bit of seasonal color.  This yellow skirt is the same as my favorite multicolored floral skirt and I added a denim jacket and charm necklace to pull it all together.  Finally, I loved my sparkly sweater paired with faux leather pants for a festive look for the holidays.

Final Thoughts

When I look back at my favorite outfits from 2025, they all share the same theme: easy pieces styled with intention. A little color, a thoughtful detail, and layers that work for my life. These looks all felt cute but me — and I’ll be wearing versions of them into 2026, too!
