My November & December Teacher Outfits
November and December looked a little different than usual for us this year — both in life and in outfits. November was full of finishing house projects and then moving, and December started with settling into our new home. Because of that, I didn’t take outfit photos every single day like I normally do, but I still wanted to share the looks I loved most during these busy months.
Another difference this year: I had several professional development days in November, which meant more jeans outfits than I typically wear to school. December also brought some extra fun with a holiday spirit week, which always makes getting dressed more playful.
Here’s a look at my November and December teacher outfits — practical, comfortable, and still fun.

Even with a busy schedule, my teacher outfits leaned into color, layers, and pieces I know work well for busy school days.
A green and white floral dress paired with a cream cardigan was perfect for one of the warmer days. I also loved wearing a duster cardigan with my favorite pixie pants and a rainbow necklace — an easy outfit that still felt styled. Another favorite was pixie pants paired with a colorful Fair Isle sweater, which felt fun without being over-the-top.

I wore maxi skirts a few times this. month. I paired my favorite floral maxi with a cropped denim shirt. I also have that same skirt in a yellow floral and wore that with a denim jacket and charm necklace. I wasn’t sure about this one at first but ended up loving it so much! Finally I wore my satin maxi skirt with my mock neck sweater. This one felt dressy but also comfy!

Pixie pants continued to be a go-to. I paired them with a graphic tee and denim button-down with white sneakers, and another day styled navy them with a navy-and-white floral tee and a light blue cardigan — I loved how all the blues worked together in that outfit. I also wore them with an oversized striped sweater and a puffer vest for extra warmth. These are always my go-to work pants as they are so easy to pair with so many different outfits, and are comfy to wear for work all day!

Some other favorites these months included trouser pants with my Quince cropped cardigan, and a Popflex pullover styled with pixie pants and sneakers for a more casual day. I also loved my purple wide-leg pants with a navy tee and white cardigan.

Jeans Outfits (PD Days & Fridays)
Thanks to several professional development days, I wore jeans more than usual – and I loved that!
One standout outfit was my barrel jeans paired with an embroidered vest – I loved how this one came together. I also wore barrel jeans with my Old Navy mockneck sweater and added a rainbow necklace for color. Straight-leg jeans were another favorite, styled with a teal long-sleeve top, cream fleece vest, and (you guessed it) a rainbow necklace.

I repeated the fleece vest with a light blue long-sleeve tee and straight jeans, and also loved pairing straight jeans with a floral embroidered cardigan. These outfits were comfortable, polished, and easy — exactly what I want on long PD days.

Spirit Week
For spirit week, I joined in with pajama day, Christmas sweater day, Whiteout day (my Bills sweatshirt), and wear green or red day.

Final Thoughts
November and December were busy, full months, and my outfits reflected that season of life. I leaned on my go-to pieces – pixie pants and comfy sweaters, my favorite floral maxi skirt, and simple accessories like my rainbow necklace.
If you’re in a similar season – moving, settling in, or just surviving a busy time of year – let this be your reminder that simple, repeatable outfits are more than enough.
